Aikido Northway is excited to welcome home Siena's own
Christopher Mulligan Sensei
7th Dan, Shihan - Sandokai Aikido Kyoto
Christopher Mulligan Sensei, New York native and Siena College Class of 1975, began training Aikido in Syracuse in 1972.
In 1978, he traveled to Japan, where he lived for eleven years, training closely with I. Shibata Shihan at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo.
Upon returning to the United States, Mulligan Sensei, along with Yoko Okamoto Shihan, established Portland Aikikai under the tutelage of Yamada Shihan of NY Aikikai.
Mulligan Sensei is currently the senior instructor and technical director at Sandokai Aikido Kyoto, teaching both children and adult classes.
