Aikido Fundamentals is an eight-week beginner program designed to help adults start Aikido comfortably and confidently.

Train in a small group and learn the fundamentals of safe falling, posture, balance, and partner practice. Classes are paced to allow time for learning, repetition, and individual guidance.

By the end of the program, participants will have a clear sense of what Aikido training involves and feel prepared to continue into regular classes if they choose.

What You’ll Learn
Over the course of the program, you’ll be guided through the core elements of Aikido practice, including:
-
Learning how to fall comfortably and safely
-
Developing balance, posture, and ease of movement
-
Practicing how to work with a partner in a cooperative, non-forceful manner
-
Becoming familiar with how Aikido classes are structured and taught
-
Gaining the confidence to participate comfortably in regular classes
Classes focus on building a strong foundation through steady practice and repetition, so that learning feels manageable, supportive, and sustainable.
