Centered Movement for Wellness is designed for adults who want to feel steadier, less tense, and more at ease in their bodies. Drawing on movement principles from Aikido, this 6-week course explores posture, breathing, balance, mobility, and coordinated whole-body movement in ways that are practical, accessible, and relevant to daily life. No martial arts experience is required.

What You’ll Learn

Over six weeks, participants will explore practical movement principles inspired by Aikido that support greater ease, stability, and awareness in everyday life. In this course, you will work on:

  • improving posture and alignment

  • developing better balance and coordination

  • reducing unnecessary tension

  • breathing more calmly and moving with greater ease

  • increasing mobility through guided whole-body movement

  • responding more confidently to changes in balance and instability

Each class builds on the last in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. The goal is not athletic performance or martial arts training in the usual sense, but greater steadiness, comfort, and composure in the way you move through daily life.
